You like a person, but you can't help but know it's also because you are attracted to their race. Is this wrong, and would it be unethical to pursue this relationship?

It’s not wrong, but you gotta be careful not to fetishize them. They’re a regular human person like you and everyone else and deserve to be treated with the same care and decency and consideration as anyone else. No more and no less (my guy friend says it weirds him out when white girls idealize him because he’s black). Hope this helps.
But no, it’s not wrong to have a preference for a particular race as long as you don’t do what I said. It’s like preferring people with red hair or blue eyes.
No. It is not wrong. You cannot alter who you are attracted to. Whether it is race, skin colour, religion, hair colour, height, it is built in and cannot be changed.
Thank you for MHG!

Oh please, pursue who you enjoy.
I've never seen people by their race like that, but as long as is not a fetish or something... I think it should not be a problem
for example, a certain skin tone or certain physical features that are more characteristic of certain regions, even an accent that one loves and is genuinely into it
should be no harm... I guess it is about how you approach this and do not make it about race either
Right and wrong is a matter of actions, not attitudes, and you don't choose what you're attracted to. Is it racist to discriminate like that? Yes, technically. But that doesn't mean it's wrong. Dark skin handles sunlight much better than light skin, which is why black people, and even most white people, don't need to buy sunscreen whose SPF is written in scientific notation. Does that mean sunlight is racist?
if that's not the only reason and you're not weirdly fetishizing them it's okay
This is a hard one to answer. Because i'm white. And while in my heart I feel I hold no racial bias I prefer black women. But I also have had more positive experiences with black women than any other race. So is it a racial thing? Or is it just positive experience? I don't think it's wrong unless you're just fetishsizing.
As long as it’s not some fetishization then sure. I say this very specifically though, like people who will only date within their race.
Not necessarily. If that’s the only reason you like them, yes. But if you like them for other reasons too, no.
It really shouldn’t be a factor, but we all have bias and underlining preferences
Attraction is not something to shy away from. If you are attracted to certain races, that's fine.
It's not wrong as long as you like the person for who they are, and not their race alone.
It's only wrong to hate them for their race.
It’s okay to have a preference. There’s a lot of white women that have a preference for black men
As long as you're not fetishizing their race does it matter why you're into someone?
That would be weird; I've never been attracted to someone just because of their race.
You can date whoever you want but i for the life of me will never understand how a person can only be attracted to a specific race
It's just preference.
No tf
