Is it true that opposite attract or they like the idea of someone just because they are attracted because of their looks?

What if;

Would a guy who is passionate about sometime, for example the gym, ever like a woman who isn't the same?

While he is the one who puts everything on social media; also then she is the opposite and is very private

Also he would only stare at her because of her big boobs, only seems attracted to it and looks her up and down.
But isn't kind to her.
While on dating app he swipes right on her (likes) when he wrote down he is there to date.
He suddenly likes her? Or just wants her as a booty call.
But what if that (on dating app) would only happen because he is in a relationship. Would be want to get out of it or wants something exciting?
