For me personally, anything 5+ years is a no go. And In general i think age gaps of 10+ years is concerning and 20+ years is disgusting because they’re old enough to be the persons parent. When i was in school, I went for dudes in my grade, not up nor down. When i got to college, i had to start asking for age because a lot of people look younger than they are. (A lot of old people go back to school late).

I have a lot in common with people of all ages. I see how people of different ages can relate to people of different decades/generations. But that doesn't mean we should date them. To each its own

If it’s just a sexual relationship and it’s legal I see no issues but in significant age gap relationships I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t side eyeing a bit. If they are at completely different stages of life and there’s a very clear power imbalance then it’s a bit weird. What does a 20 yr old and a 40 yr old really have in common aside from sex. Nothing for the majority

like I always thought it was weird when people who are 30+ date those who are 18-23. I just don’t get what a grown ass 30 year old would have in common with someone fresh out of highschool. An 18 year old is a child compared to someone that age.
they’re an adult so it’s their choice but I do question the motives of someone who goes after someone that young

Even as a 25 year old, being around my 18 year old niece and her friends makes me feel like I’m baby sitting lol. Could never imagine dating someone that age

As long as both parties are over 18, I think that a 10 year gap or less is acceptable. More than 10 years is pushing it.
