What Does It Mean to Be Pansexual? I'm really curious about your opinions...

Was not so sure on the answer so looked it up
And honestly have to say it makes no sense, in the basic its bisexual that is also attracted to someone that dose not defind them self as a gender
Thing is what you idintify your self has very little on if aomeone will or will not get attracted to you
So overall I say it sounds like just trying to make things more compilcated by also putting in what the outher side decide they are regardless of any idea or cospet the first party has

With a pansexual term the bisexual is only attracted to someone that self idinitfy as male or female, and pan sexual are bisexual that dont care what the person idintify them self as, so even if there a human that self idintify them self as a apachi attack helicopter they may be attracted to it, even if it dose not say its male or female

Seriously, though, the way I've always described it that makes the most sense to people who know me:

As a pansexual, I am different than bisexual in that I am not concerned about genitals. I've dated cismen, transmen, ciswomen, transwomen, and am currently dating a wonderful NB. I have never dated anyone with any consideration of what is in their pants... I am attracted to their spirit, their energy.

Alright I'll try to give you my best definition since I'm pansexual.
Basically it means you can attracted to anyone regardless of their gender. There's actually very little difference between bisexual and pansexual. The easiest metaphor would be to imagine a buffet at a restaurant.
A hetetosexual or a homosexual chooses only one kind of dish, the hetetosexual chooses something that's opposite to them while the homosexual chooses something similar to them.
A bisexual person can try out multiple dishes at the buffet but not necessarily all of them.
A pansexual person will be able to try all the dishes.

Now this doesn't mean they necessarily are attracted to multiple people at a time (that's polyamory) or they'll basically have sex with anyone.
It simply means that a person's gender wouldn't matter to them as a criteria for attraction.
