My boyfriend talks bad about other peoples appearance and I heard him call a girl fat to one of his friends. We went somewhere and he complained that the company always hire the most ugly looking people.

You think that is rude then you should stay far away from the guys I know. Fat is a straight-up clean descriptor. You may not like it but there's nothing wrong with it. I can understand the fact that he is noticing other women can be disturbing to you, however, "that girl or you are fat" is not a bad statement if factual.

Doesn’t matter if it’s factual. There is no excuse for being a dick for no reason. Saying nothing, is better than judging others. In the grand scheme of things, what is the purpose or point in making those comments? Nothing. It only serves to show that you’re a judgmental asshole. If he doesn't say it loud to the ugly people, he's not rude. In particular talking about girls, its totally normal that they judge their beauty. Not rude at all
