Why is my boyfriend being rude with me?

I (22f) was texting my boyfriend (20m) and then all of a sudden his mood changed. I don’t know what happened but he completely changed, i asked what happened and he said “lazy to explain”. i asked him again what happened and why he didn’t want to tell me, and then he started to ignore my calls and texts. When he decided to reply, he said “shut up, you’re so annoying” then again proceeded to ignore my texts and calls. I have no idea what’s going on and it seems he has no plans on telling me or at least talk to me. Nothing at ALL happened previously, we were perfectly fine. I just don’t understand why he’s being like this all of a sudden. What does this means?

To me it sounds pretty obvious that something happened in his life that he doesn't want to talk about yet. Maybe it is something embarrassing or something that he hasn't really processed himself yet. Hard to say since he is not telling you what is going on. If you can't think of a reason why he would be mad at you... I bet it is something family or friend related. There are definitely better ways for him to handle this situation but since that isn't likely given what you have explained it would prob be best to give him some space to think through whatever issue he is having. That is what I would do.
