Living alone or with roommate?

With roommate , but uts their house savs me upto 500 dollars but alone its my home no one can kick me out but... its costs me

I prefer living alone. When I first decided to move out, my friends and I decided to share an apartment. Knowing them without living with them turned out to be way different than knowing them and just hanging out. They ended up getting a dog and the dog would destroy everything. The dog would poop and pee everywhere.

They did not want to help out with groceries but would use the food I bought to cook and leave the dirty dishes in the sink and stove for when I would come home after being at work and school all day.

One day I came home and they had the audacity to tell me we need toilet paper. They said that they were waiting for me to get home to buy it so they went to McDonald's to get napkins to use while they waited for me... mind you they didn't even take the toilet paper napkins...

This experience really stuck with me. You really don't know a person until you've moved in with them. At the end of the day, I didn't even end up saving money.

I have lived with roommates in the pass and it is better living alone. Mine took advantage of my hard earned money by making me pay $400-$600 on food when they would only pay $100-200 a month and we all paid the rent and bills but they forced me to pay for most of the food because I was making more money then them plus they thought they were the boss and made up the law of the home. I have been roommate free for a year and loving it! I will never roommate again because I went through hell. My food bill is cheaper because I am just feeding myself and not 3 mouths or 2 mouths.

I started out living with roommate which was good cause he was an old guy who actually turned out to be a cross-dresser but nice and respectful towards others. Wild times so one never knows but it was nice having 700 month taken care of.

I think for young women a roommate is good. Look out for each other, prevent isolation. Still have privacy. Like on "Friends".

Always.. try your best to stay alone. You get more chances and more freedom being alone. Friend (girls) can turn in to jealousy if you talk to a certain guy certain luck certain job etc. privacy = happiness

This is a money vs freedom matter. Depends how much you need the $. I favored having no roommates and calling the all shots before I owned a house over the $.

As for me I like my space & living alone is like having total freedom.

Get your own place and a roommate for that instead. That will give you control and save you money.
