For Those who live on your own do you have Roommates or Live by yourself?

When I moved out on my own, I never had a room mate.

Although, when I was 34, I rented a house with a woman for almost a year. That relationship ended in disaster.

When I was 36, I met a 30 year old. We wound up living together for about 2 years, but I kept my apartment and basically moved some clothes and essentials to the house she was renting. I went back to my apartment for stuff periodically.

I live alone. I considered moving out with a roommate, but didn't know anyone who was also looking to move out at the same time. That was over a year ago now and I'm doing just fine on my own.

Living with people can be a dice role. Some can be terrible roommates.

True. I'm pretty adaptive and have experience living with different people, but I was mainly looking to save money and not be alone all day. As I said I'm doing fine, but there have been rough patches. It could have been much worse with a roommate, or it could have been much better. Regardless it's still not an option for now.

I live by myself. Having roommates is fun, but ends up being tiring and sometimes you need the extra privacy. I've had roommates before and it's just better for the rent. Other than that, nothing much really. Plus, living alone teaches responsibility and all that stuff. Anyway, im yapping lol. I live alone by myself.

I've got the best of both worlds. I've got my own pad, but I've also got a rotation of "one-hour roommates" - you know, those girls who stay over for a while and then move on to the next cool bro's place.

When I was younger, in college and after, until I got married, I lived by myself, in several different apartments. I moved quite a bit for work.

I live alone and I find it peaceful. I feel lucky about my situation when my friends tell me about all the shitty things people are doing to each other in there shared space. I just couldn't wind down in an environment like that.
