Does jealousy destroy your relationship?

For me I do get jealous cause I'm really insecure about myself. I have been for years. Its just when I meet a great guy I'm always afraid they want someone prettier or skinner.

If a men or women decides to be with you. Then he made his decision. There is no need to be jealous of as long as there is no reason for it. Just being jealous without any reason will be a very strong poison for your relationship.

Not jealousy, per se; resentment destroys relationships. I won’t suggest that any amount of jealousy is “healthy” as some other idiots and assholes might. But when partners view each other as equals, it doesn’t hurt. Resentment occurs as a result of jealousy when one partner feels as though their partner could more easily replace them than they themselves could replace their partner. It’s a complex human interaction juggling trust, respect and self respect. Outside relationships have an effect on all of the above, making the juggling even trickier. If you can’t keep every one of those balls in the air, jealousy becomes the gravity that brought the whole act down.

The right man will understand up to a point until it becomes all-consuming. Once it starts to intervene with long-term female friends or family members there will be conflict.

Too much can
