I recently met this guy that I really liked. He is nice, thoughtful and sweet over text message. However, when we met in person, he didn't really say much. I was the one who had to initiate the conversation, and it made me worried. I'm not bad looking, and we already established that neither of us did anything wrong, so why was he so shy?

Thats totally normal with shy people, including myself. When texting we seem like normal people but in person its very different. I'm sure its not your fault, after some dates he will feel more comfortable and opens up to you.
