It seems the guy I like is more of a communicator in person but then again I only texted an hour ago but I’m not sure if he’s a texter either because he doesn’t have any social media.

• Only those communicative, and value communication.
• Those who love to write.
• Those who view texting as genuinely entertaining, and a way to know ABOUT a person (I say about because texting alone cannot build friendships, unless it’s consistent and valued).

I think also more specifically- all guys are texters, but not are all invested in the texts or the people they text. That’s just the simple truth.

So I shouldn’t get all down or worried if the guy I like doesn’t really text but communicates more face to face? That seems to be how he is.

Yeah, that’s not a thing to worry about. If you want boundaries- texting or calls would be better, so you can get to know him, otherwise face-to-face communication can lead to affections and “other stuff.” (It’s just how it can naturally unfold. For anybody).

If you want him to be more communicative and both of you ‘getting to know each other,’ phone would be best, but at the same time? We don’t need phones to isolate us. We’re social creatures/beings so in person and hang outs would be best-

I’d say even public hang out spots and talks would be good, to get to know each other, a bit. If you want to know the mind of a person, calls can be better because you aren’t visually distracted or distracted by other senses and the public, and simply just hearing what they have to say, and how they think/ what they value- etc.

Yeah observe if he uses his phone A LOT when he’s out with you- that will mean he does text other people, and was simply stringing you along or so, but if he’s fully invested in person and does a call or text here and there- seems like a good sign that he’s not much of a texter, but STILL values you as someone he’s “in contact” with.

Texting isn't real communication, and smart people figured that out a long time ago.

yes. I am older so I do not live on my phone so I do not text very much.
I do that as a form of communication if something isn't urgent, otherwise I call when necessary.

I'm 45 growing up rotary phone and we're outside all day I'd rather see the person and talk idont take the phone with me a lot of time was so different than from now I just want someone to be honest with me and care about me

Texting is very difficult for me. Often the other person will be faster by far and I'd rather just chat on the phone.
