So... he wants open and casual. That's the part of the statement that is relevant to you for. That's not a guy who wants to fall in love... either soon or with you (no offence).

If you don't also want casual. Move on. For sure.

Well what it sounds like is that he's a guy who might be ONE DAY looking for love. But... isn't ready to do that now. And I wouldn't keep dating him in hopes that'll change soon. Maybe it will, but it's a bad bet to take. I think you should just move on if you're looking for something substantial.
