Should I be worried about my best friend?

My best friend keeps trying to invite my boyfriend to places without me. They were friends before I met him but they weren't this close. Like on weekends she never used to talk to him at all. She's single now and I noticed she has been wanting to hang out with him more. She never invites my anywhere or ever recommends places for us to go but has with my boyfriend. My boyfriend hung out with her one time and she never told me about it. He told me about it and the few other times she's tried to invite him. I ask her about it and she just says lol or lmao and then tries to play it off telling me I should come along to these places too. Like i said before she has no interest in hanging out with me that much but is obsessed with hanging out with my boyfriend.

At the end of the day she calls him her brother but I don't know how to even feel about that.
