Do you have a fear of abandonment?

I realize that i have one. especially when it comes to dating i tend to fear the other person doesn't care about me enough and will eventually leave me. which causes me to act irrationally and anxiously. and that tends to drive the other person away from me.

Yeah this picture here sums it all up well for me.

Can anyone else relate to this?

I definitely have before.

It’s not just being left behind, but knowing, for SURE, someone has GOOD intentions/ thoughts/ feelings for a person, (it’s always essential to know for sure).

We can’t let people disrespect us more so, than leave us.

I don’t think I struggle with this now, but my mind may linger around these things- at times- because of weighing/ assessing the level (s) of respect/ reciprocity. (Really just for the questioning their feelings part, and such).

Also, no one liked to be lied too. Conned.

So ofc people would think around these topics/categories, at times.

Used to managed. I more specifically crave company from those who WILL value a person (myself) and so on.

I don't, maybe cause I'm pretty used to people walking away and don't really get surprised anymore and I know that I can move on from this after a while and I know I will meet new people and also it's normal that human relationships change with time and not everyone will stay with you until the end, it would be nice but that's mostly not the case

Sometimes. Not with spouse or family but from friends and acquaintances. Like they'll ghost, vanish, etc.

if someone abandons me, i have these intense emotions where i feel like actual dog doo doo and i'm gonna keel over and die

but after like, 10 hours or so i brush it off and forget cuz i have an attachment disorder 😎😎

I don't have it because I'm used to being rejected. And when I'm not rejected, people usually stay with me for a long time.

Everything except for the sabotaging. Fear of abandonment is a main symptom of bpd 😅
