I wouldn't date a stripper even if she were otherwise my perfect woman. Not in a million years would I even consider dating a stripper.

I've also never been to a strip-club, and hope I'm able to still say that on my death-bed. I feel like guys giving their money to girls pretending to be interested in them... is some chump-shit. It make me second-hand embarrassed that going to the stip club is a thing guys do (guys I know and like). I don't get it.

I think a strip-club is probably a great place for a SPECIFIC TYPE of guy to find a girlfriend. The type of guy who thinks women like you because you'll spoil them (I'd call this a chump too... but maybe more just mixed-up).

But in general, I think a strip-club might be the very worst place to find an actual healthy meaningful relationship.

(Now, before some stripper jumps down my throat and goes on about how she's been happily married for 15 years to the love of her life, and is still stripping and yadda yadda yadda. That's cool. Good for you. I am not saying it's never happened. I'm just saying... It's generally a horrible place to find a meaningful relationship. There are, I'm sure, exceptions. But how many of the other women you strip with found a meaningful relationship from some guy stuffing bills in her g-string?)

Well said. I went once and it was more like torture, never wanted to go back. But I wondered if a lot more women went and it became the new dating scene, it's raelly just dancing in bikini's and getting attention... Not too much different from Beach Blanket Bing... haha

I think there's a whole lot for you to unpack in the fact that: Hypothetically, you would quit stripping, but... you wouldn't trust (a hypothetical!) boyfriend to do the same? There's... a whole lot in there. For you to think about I mean. I just had to point out... that you really should take a look at this. There's a whole lot in that one little line. 🙂

Not so trusting? What if the mindset changed and such an avenue becomes "a legit way to find a mate", not all unlike the Indian's do by arranged marriage or online dating... it's just you've got a large selection of men checking you out, and you get to choose which advances you'd accept.
Not much different than online dating where once you commit, that stuff should be turned off and the rest is working to be honorable to the relationship, regardless of work/life exposure to others.
It's a mind shift... you get to dance, get in shape, make some dough, guys get to take their chances... lol.
Note the article... where one stripper had 20 min long discussion on neuroscience.
They used to have this kinda thing in reverse, where men were auctioned off...
