I don't want to meet, talk or be at the same event as my boyfriend's ex.. would you if you were in my situation?

My boyfriend's family and friends all keep in contact with his ex girlfriend... it's so annoying. If she's invited to an event. I will not go. I don't want anything to do with her. I don't want to meet, talk. Or be at the same function as her. It's just super uncomfortable for me

They have the right to choose who they like to be with, and so do you. Constantly avoiding your boyfriend's family, though, is not going to work long-term. You gave a choice. Either you break up with him or you go to the family events and just stay away, as best you can, from his ex. You might just find out she's actually a nice person, and a threat to you.

I go to their events. It's not so much his family who invites her. Its more his friends. If I know she's going il go

Neither you nor your boyfriend should go to any such events. He should respect you to not go and to tell that to his family and friends that he doesn't want to be at any event she's at.
