Do you feel like women have the unfair race with age?

Of course it scared me when I first turned 25, because it was a serious age already and I felt like even if I feel like forever teen, I am not anymore and I was thinking I wasn’t always be as privileged as I was at 18-23. I made peace with my years though, cause I live my life fully, and only the dead stay 17 forever, so I am hella lucky to survive as far as I do.

So, all this philosophy away, what I mean is that, I was talking with a girl who is extremely pretty, she’s Chinese and she’s 25, she told me when men hear in Asia that she is 25, some of them back away, as she is considered old lol.

Like what the hell?

And I am just saying that because I hear lots if men complaining about how shallow and picky women are and so on and on. Just want to say I think it’s kinda deserved. If majority of men feel like women shouldn’t get old and they should always stay 18-23, then I guess men shouldn’t be too concerned about women judging them on their heights, money, appearance and etc.

Just saying nothing is fair and I am not worried about my age, because I’ve been learning Biology, genetics and evolutionary psychology all my life and I am well equipped with the knowledge of the difficulties I’ll come across when I am older and also, how to solve them.

Just sharing this post to show that not everything is fair and you shouldn’t be bitter about the women being very picky. Because men literally judge women for the fact that they are alive after certain age.

Young women have better looks, higher fertility and less baggage, Asian men tend to care about it more than western men. I don't mind women caring about height, tallness is masculine.

What I wonder is, at some point you are getting married with someone right? So, what happens once they live long enough to manage to become older than 30 and so on

There is the 'men get old, women get replaced' trope, and the whole "anti-age" stuff, but no, I don't expect you to become a vampire. The main idea is that women should get married before the 'expiration date', as it says in the 'my biological clock is ticking' trope, men tend to be more picky about new relationship than about existing relationship, while it true that a wife is not 100% safe, if a woman is a long time with a man, and he saw her aging, then he likely be more tolerant with her than when he look for someone new to date.

Well, I had a fiance who cheated and broke up with me in the end, I myst have been married to him already.

Yes, women do tend to be shallow and picky when they are younger, but that goes away as they approach their 30s. Interesting how that works.

This reality is no more or less fair to woman than it is to men. Women have the power in dating while in their 20s, but men have it thereafter. It all evens out in the end.

A smart woman will use the power she has when she's younger to attract and marry a good man who will love her and not care about what she looks like when she's older. That's how love works. Most women who don't take advantage of that power while they can put themselves in a difficult position once they finally start listening to that biological clock that has been sounding the alarm for years while they ignored it.

Its unfair how us women are more pressured/pushed into stuff and judged by our age.. ill be 25 and im scared as heck to turn 25 this year even though people ask me still "how old are you" "you in college" and stuff like that because they mistake me being 20-21 and im 24.

Actually, what usually happens is that many women in their younger years casually date and sleep with "playboys" and guys who won't settle with stable guys and get married. Once they hit their 30s, they start thinking about it. But then, those stable guys wouldn't want them anymore. Women by large, don't know how to pick stable men, so they date through more superficial aspects.

Yes, I do. Men, too, but to a lesser degree. Though that doesn't mean I agree that women are less valuable as they age, I don't, just that it seems the most common societal perspective is that women are preferred at that time.

To quote Baz Luhrman "you won't understand the power and beauty of your youth unitl it has failed you". No. Men are generally logical. Women chase thier feelings until that is no longer an option. Then are forced to face reality ot they just become bitter at the fact that they have lost thier youth. As I said poetic justice.
