Yes of course, I actually believe that's the healthiest way to do it, if you have a friendship with her you'll know her very well before y'all start dating, that means that by the time y'all are gonna get married y'all would be tight, friendships basically prepare you for marriage believe it or not, cause it let's you know if y'all are good for each other because y'all can get along and be together for so long.
