When a woman says “I don’t need a man” she means she doesn’t rely her happiness on a man. She doesn’t rely on a man for emotional or financial support. Honestly, man or woman, STOP RELYING ON PEOPLE FOR YOUR HAPPINESS AND FOR FINANCIAL STABILITY. This has nothing to do with not needing a mans assistance with things. Most people are not going to waste their time changing their own oil…
I wouldn't say I need a woman. I'm almost 30 and have enjoyed my prime 20s just being single. I wouldn't take back the time I've enjoyed so far as single and spending more quality time with family. so I'm quite happy with my single status. 🙂🙂🙂 Maybe I'll be reincarnated someday and have another go someday hahahaha 🥳🥳🥳
I used to have the mindset that I don't need a man but I no longer have that mindset since falling in love. I realize it's okay to be vulnerable and have a man take care of you. That's not to say to not be independent but it's okay to let a man be there for you.
financial independence is not an issue. its the emotional independence thats a huge turn off. every human needs another human to feel completed. women always bring the card where they dont need a man. well go live with cats if you dont need a man. im seeing so many older 30 and 40 year old women by the masses and its a huge turn off.
Nope I like independent women. I do not have time to "take care" of someone, esp with my schedule. They need to be able to function on their own. that does not mean that I won't help out or pitch in, but I simply do not have the time to do everting for someone else.
I would question what the woman meant when she said she doesn't need me/us, but aside from that I admire independent women. Please come take care of me, lol. Or better yet, teach me what you know ^^
Personally, and to put it in simple terms, I'd say I need a woman to complete me. I don't think that necessarily has to have anything to do with being able to be independent.
As long as they're saying it honestly and not spitefully I say "good for them".🙂 I don't think anyone should NEED anyone else. You're strongest and healthiest when you're able to stand on your own 2 feet. Be with someone because you want to be with someone and enjoy thier company. Not because of some perceived need. We're all born alone and we all die alone. Being alone in the meantime is OK.
The women who says they don't need a men because they are independent. This is all bullsshit. In fact no women can't live without men because men still doing many works where women don't want to work like hard labour work making house in army or in police department infact if women need protection so they would probably go to man who can protect her but not go to any independent girl. This is all fucking bullshit that they don't need men. Although women are not less then men but we need each other in every aspect of life. You can see men is independent always but never told they not need women infact they married women and bear all her expenses and still man are not happy now a days.
There’s a difference between a woman being independent and having an “I don’t need no man” attitude. If she goes out of her way to say she doesn’t need me, it feels like she doesn’t want me. But simply being independent and never in anyone’s face about it is fine if not great.
Not really, I can take care of myself and etc and I'm not dependent on someone else. But, one day eventually, I do want a good, grown, respectful and emotionally avaliable man
I'm independent. I mean I don't "need" someone to survive. I can survive and care for myself. But, a man's company has a lot of perks. As a single woman, I do look forward to having a man in my life again.
I want a woman who doesn't need me, who is capable of taking care of herself, who could walk out the door any day she decided to. When she stays, I know its because she *wants* to be with me, not that she has no other choice.
I feel I need a man because I am constantly lonely... even when I am having fun once it is time for bed, I wish I had someone their with me... Like once you live with a guy its hard to go back to being alone 😅
The issue for men isn't independence vs dependence. On a base levels these things just dont matter. They have np vsiceral emotional currency.
What matters is expression of care. A woman caring about her career more than family or -- as our feelings deepen -- more than me is an extreme turn off. Its like girl equivalent of a man who plays Xbox at 11am in his underwear.
And, for the same reasons. It signals that he doesn't care even about the things women innately value.
Most men don't care as long as the woman put out, it's pretty nice to be asked by a woman to get something from a high shelf, as men tend to be naturally taller than women.
Independent to a point. Too independent than its best to not be in a relationship. However, I don’t need someone gold digger needing me to pay there debts while they get to coast through life. Can keep that.
I think woman that are independent are great , we should all be so lucky to be independent ,, then we dont need anyone we just want them ,, to be able to look after our selves is what mom and dad were to teach us before we move out of house right.. some did some did not my mom did. Thanks mom
