Me personally I rarely drink alcohol it’s only If I’m at a wedding, function or celebration where people are drinking.

Even then, I try to avoid drinking. I like a clear mind

A lot of people place a great importance on the looks of a person and that is the prime factor to find someone attractive or not. I personally don't care about looks because looks don't tell anything about the character and personality of that person.

On the other hand, someone that refrains from drinking alcohol seems to go against the current and that proves that he/she has character and personality. It takes more courage to be different than to follow the crowd.

However, I don't think that the fact that a person does not drink makes him/her attractive. It simply makes him/her more of an outsider to most people that don't care whether they are intoxicated or not or that drink often.

No, this is not something that makes someone attractive. Is it a good quality? Sure it is. That just means you have self control. Is it something I will think to myself "I have to have this guy! He doesn't drink alcohol!"? No, it isn't. That is just a personal choice. A good one too.

There are much more important things that make someone attractive like character, personality, values, intellect, humour, etc. Those are just a few of the things I look for in a potential partner. Yes, I have to also be physically attracted to him.

Not drinking often is good for your health. I am much the same in that I might have a glass of wine or two in a typical week. This is mostly on the weekend. That is enough for me in a week. I will have a drink if out to dinner or with friends. Those are about the only times outside of things you mention like wedding or celebration of some sort.

People that don’t drink can’t maintain a better physique and are probably more successful. It’s usually poor, broken people that are alcoholics

As long as they dont do it all the time and act stupid, if they can handle it its fine. Its smoking that puts me off

I drink so I would want someone who also drinks. Just not someone who drinks to the point where it's a problem.
