When do you stop seeing someone of the opposite sex as a potential date?

What is something a person does, or says, that makes you stop seeing them in a sexual or romantic potential and move the relationship into a more platonic category?

If I'm single and they are not, I automatically view them platonically.

If I work with a girl, I usually always view her platonically.

If I'm in a relationship I view all other women platonically.

If I found her attractive and we both are available, it would take something extreme to make me friendzone her or find her unattractive.

Honesty, the only thing that would end my romantic interest is if I just don't feel the connection.
She could be my dream girl and a totally cool person, but if I don't feel that emotional connection, then I could never love her the way she deserves.
