I don't have a great looking body (5 out 10) but I am very good looking about the neck (8 out of 10). So, I need to leverage other assets. I'm attracted to women who are intelligent and communicate well. So, I also am intelligent and communicate well. Meeting face to face organically (organically is the new word for spontaneously) in a public setting works best. I am very confident starting conversations and leading them to a point where I ask for a future date. (not manipulating) If I had to rely upon internet dating where the app frames me in a way that doesn't illuminate my best features, I would never meet a woman. Does this work all the time? No, I meet women with boyfriends, women who are married, women who are not interested in me. I don't consider a woman who is single and declining my invitation to meet socially later, a rejection. It doesn't bother me at all. I believe in myself and know how strong my social market value actually is.
@Gloree imagine if a woman had said this would you have responded the same way. This person is exuding everything that positive people try to reinforce in people dating and you're dumping on him. When you're old and ugly I wonder if you'll feel the same way
@Topher87090 lol what? 😂... I'm just a 5'10 fairly handsome dude but apparently very charming... I think i attract too many girls than I should.. I mean I don't approach, flirt, or initiate anything and girls do that with me all the time... it's actually a little overwhelming lol
When I was in my late teens and early 20s, it was kinda hard.
But after I turned 30 and started to get the rough sturdy look and grew out of my baby face look. That's when the girls started to notice me. By then it was too late. I was already married
Depends on where I set my standards... If I'm just looking for a hookup, personality will have less bearing, and, so, the standards are lower, because I won't have to deal with a conflicting personality, long term, and that means I can get some action pretty quickly. Now, if we're talking longer term, sure, I can attract women, but it doesn't necessarily mean I'm attracted, because there may be some other things aside from their appearance that turns me off to the idea of longer term.
Attracting what I don't want is a kinda moot question to ask... That's my point.
It's easy for me to attract women, yes... But it's not exactly a success, when what is attracted is sub standard. Quality vs quantity... From a quantity perspective, it's like taking candy from a baby... From a quality perspective, it's like looking for treasure in the city dump.
I have a fit body but since I don't drink or smoke I seem like someone very awkward for most people and so it's difficult to find a girl who doesn't mind that about a guy
