Why does he compare me to other girls?

My boyfriend was telling me that there were girls that were way younger than me that have there sh’t together and have their own place. He told me that I need to step up because I’m getting older and time is running out for me. I have been working hard and finishing up with my degree. I made a mistake by transferring colleges because it took me back a year and I have been paying for it with my own money which is why I haven’t been able to move out of my parents. I’m already stressed out and under pressure and him saying that made me feel more terrible that I already was. advice pls.

Girl, i live with my parents and never have something that i own. I dont work. I just focus on getting my degree. Ur doing great, i wish i was more like u. At times, i do feel like crap because im not that productive and wish i was. My boyfriend is very supportive saying i dont hav to work because he can provide, he also dosent mind two incomes cuz more money the merrier. I wouldn't let my boyfriend talk to me like that! Would not dump him over that statement so just talk to him about how u feel!

3) Break up with him
4) After you you do that, tell him to drink Bleach

His method of motivating you may not be one in which you thrive with but ignoring this, I'm going to assume that he has a plan, is working hard, and excuting it and expects you to do the same because he has long term plan for you both. I don't think most guys that age, are as headstrong in their life much less pushing their girlfriend to do whatever it takes to succeed. Instead, I think they really just focused on their sexual needs and whether you continue to fullfil them

I don't mean to diminish how you feel and the pressure you may be under,. but im going to be blunt with you, the pressure you under living at parents house and I'm college is nothing compared to the pressure you'll experience financing your own cost of living, working, maintaining relationships, having to do all the chores, errands, etc by yourself, maintaining a fit body, and on and on.

Or you could leave him and go with a guy who only tells you, it's okay, take your time with school, don't put any pressure on yourself, etc.

An SO is supposed to build you up and have your back, not go into attack mode when they see a moment of weakness or vulnerability. You made a bad choice so at least learn from that part of the mistake and it won't be a total waste

Their are certain aspects about you he wishes were better. It's a scumbag thing to openly compare you to others to put a spotlight on your "shortcomings" (or what he sees as shortcomings) Nobody is perfect.
