Is it weird that my boyfriend compares me to other girls?

My boyfriend told me that he compares/ranks me with the other girls he’s slept with before. He said it was normal but I don’t think it is. He said he doesn’t want to hear me talk about it and he gave me weak apology too. So is it weird that he does this?

I did things like that when I was around your age.

It was a form of manipulation. I wanted the girl I was with to know how desirable I was to other women and feel she had to compete and put in effort to retain me. I was saying and doing things to try and get her to think or behave in a particular way.

Stupid small brain behaviour done out of insecurity. You should probably try and find someone better. But to be honest, all 18 year old boys are just that, boys.

An 18 year brain is not developed and no matter how experienced they think they are at the time, they're all in a stage of infancy when it comes to relationships and intimacy.

It's a red flag, a person that compares you to others already shows signs that he doesn't see anything special or different that makes you special to him, it puts you in a category where every other woman he's been with remains, it only shows that dating isn't as serious to him as it should be.

Now, is it malicious? Absolutely. The man is purposely trying to make you insecure so that you won’t leave him. I’d go ahead and dump him as you don’t need to be dating an emotional manipulator.
