How are men 38+ with messaging?

I recently turned 30 saying a soon to be 38 years old
men. In the beginning he would message first
almost every day that lasted for 3 months.
Nowadays I'm the one initially messaging first. He
does reply back but he doesn't message first
anymore. I don't know if I should take this as a bad
sign. Im extremely sad and I'm a very good girl
he is literally 1st guy I'm dating I told him that too
when we first met he said that totally normal he
down at mind. I don't know
Maybe he hates messages that’s why I asked if it has to do with age?
I'm not sure anymore
Should I ask him why he doesn’t message him anymore and I feel differences? But I also don’t want to look bad he knows I like him it’s not like he isn’t aware?

I dunno, I think you gotta talk to him about it. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask about if you've been the only one to initiate messaging for a while.

Not sure age matters. People communicate in different ways. Just talk to him and find out what works best
