I think it's a little odd, but maybe not in the way you are thinking. The age difference itself is not what I care about, but just that you two are most likely in different positions in your lives. The 29-year-old might want to settle down and have kid (s) within the next five years, whereas the 21-year-old might be working towards a career those next five years.

Overall, it's going to depend on the two in the couple and it's not going to be the exact same situation everytime like the one I gave an example of. If they are both thinking the same in where they wanna be within the next five years, then it isn't odd to me anymore.

Pretty standard for 29 yro men to date 21 yro women. in my opinion more 21 yro men should try 29 yro women as that age range is usually when women are the best sexually around 29-33 if they're not married by then they usually give up the fantasy and are ready to experiment more. It's a great way for young guys to increase their sexual experience.

Age is just a number because my girlfriend who is going to marry me is 5 years elder than me, then I asked her, why do you want to marry me because you are elder than me then she replied that age is just a number. so there is nothing wrong in it as long as you are living
