Well I was dating in the 80s, 90s and 2000s in between long term relationships. Do I miss it? No. There was no internet dating sites you actually had to go out and meet them. So you couldn’t realize they were nucking futs until you ordered your dinner.
Ok I’ll give you an example. In my early 20s I ran into a former classmate at the club we used to have something & began reconnecting I was hoping to hook up. She walked away briefly leaving her friend with me & then I saw her talking to another dude. They looked like they were into each other so I started hitting on her friend.
She came back looked annoyed and stated “I was going home with you but if you want her fine then!” Then stormed off.
So I went home with her friend and we began dating. She had two jobs one a grocery store and the other she just said she was on call and carried a beeper. Before cell phones people had beepers to notify them of phone calls.
We hung out twice and she started saying weird shit like I was different I’m not like other guys and she invited me to a wedding. I was like whoa too quick sure we’re cool but lets put on the brakes.
So then she wrote me a letter. I was like a letter? Why? Whatever I come over and read the letter.
She wrote about being raped multiple times once by multiple guys. That her other job was an escort. Thankfully I gloved up everytime and I said thanks for the letter and went home. She went a little cuckoo for cocopuffs so I had to screen my calls for awhile.
At least now with the internet and such you can get an idea what you’re getting into.
Lol no dinner. First date was at her apartment we rented a movie that never got watched. I remember thinking it was strange her bed had no sheets claiming they were in the laundry…. Now I know why.
I'd say the 1990s was the best for me, as well as the first part of the 2000s. The 2020s has been good in terms of volume, but not for anything serious.
2010s is the only decade I ever dated somebody but I have not been absent, been investing in my career so I can support a family when I return to the dating world.
well the 2010s is when i went from being 6 to having sex and everything in between so i would have to say that one. though no one went down on me until 2020
1970’s. I didn’t come of age until the late 80’s early 90’s, and have faint memories of those older than me during the 70’s. The crime and violence that accompanied crack cocaine, and the HIV/AIDS epidemic really spoiled it for me. Greg Brady said it best to Peter Brady, “Come on, they are not our real sisters.” Of course in some states real sisters don’t matter to some.
1950s. Take a gal out to the soda shop, Juke box playing music in the background. You go to the counter together and order a malt milkshake from the "Soda Jerk". Can't take your eyes off of her becasue she got dressed up nice.

The 1990s/. I miss some of it. I really did have a couple of very nice girls that I dated. Most of it was a horror show. I was glad when i got married.
