First date, any suggestions?

Hello, I'm a 18 year old guy and I like a girl (18) so yesterday I asked her if she want to go on a drink with me next week and she said yes. I liked her for quite some time for now but she had a boyfriend so I couldn't do anything. Us two are also dancing on prom (she asked me). We also know eachother for more than a year because we were partying together often but than we lost contact. I was looking for any kind of help with my first date, any suggestions, any kind of help would be very appreciated. Also I wanna know when should I text her to arrange a date if that date will be next week, probably in the middle of the week?

Well I asked her out theough snapchat tiday to arrange that date. I texted her at 7 pm and she still didnn't answer. Why would she say yes and now do that to me?

She finally texted me back saying that she is free tomorrow evening.

You know dude you're the one who probably knows best what kind of date would work that you both would like. Afterall you've known her for a year. I'd say trust your own judgement a little more. whether that's a night out or something smaller that involves her hobbies or something.

Mini golf, bowling, arcade, maybe to a bar. Just text her as soon as, so she’s fully prepared for it. You could even ask her if there’s anything she’d particularly like to do since you guys are already friends
