I’ve never been in a relationship. So I was wondering if it even is a good idea to ask a guy this question. If the relationship is going good. If you both feel that you can trust eachother for life. Is there even a point in asking this. Or do you both already know that you belong to eachother?

Woman need to understand that not all men are good in pursuing and flirting with woman. Lots of good might even be to shy to ask a woman out on a date. Im a guy for example who will never cheat on his woman. I will provide for my girl and attend to her needs. But I absolutely suck in starting a conversation. The moment I say hi to a girl I like my mind terminated itself and I have absolutely no clue what to say anymore. Its embarrassing for real. Very awkward aswell.

You should talk about these things and it can be either partner to bring this up. It is very important also to agree if you want to be sexually faithful to each other. There can be great diappointment if this is not clear.

It can be brought up in a casual way, maybe when talking about celebrities and their life choices as examples. You can see what he thinks about exclusive relationships and long-term commitment. In the end there has to be clarity, though.

I think asking is important. You could be a hook up, friends with benefits or potential future wife, that's a broad spectrum. And communication is important to the foundation of every single healthy relationship you have anyway.
