Why is it that you can can spend like 6 years in a relationship with a guy but at the end of the day u guys don't end up making it to forever?

Because look. Women get the better deal in terms of forever. Men just make more money, workout, get more experience and confidence... women only get worse as time goes on. So yeah they only last 5 to 10 years on average and at best maybe 25 years.

So why would you commit to driving the same car the rest of your life? You sure would regret it when you make a lot more money and you don't want that beat up used thing that's gotten more dents and has more issues and doesn't have any modern features.

To combat this. Women used to come correct. Have a lot of value to offer to earn a commitment. It was a trade. A woman would go above and beyond when she was young and then later when the tables turned a man would stick it through.

Now Women aren't virgins, aren't pleasant whatever... they don't bring anything unique to the table worth committing to. Therefore Men dont want to commit like that.

It's just a fact of life. It's not good or bad. I'm just not going to commit to a girl who couldn't commit to me ie save herself for me at minimum. I can just trade in women when they annoy me for a younger better one.

People don't want to have any long term commitments anymore. For a very large crowd, 6 years is already much more than they were originally willing to commit for.

Young people want to have their fun and after 6 years, that fun is usually over. The honeymoon and original interest phases are gone and the partner is becoming more of a burden and is no longer a novelty. Routine installed itself in the relationship.

This kind of behavior is not gender specific. I personally blame the overall superficial society and the lack of long term vision. Unfortunately, sex is predominant nowadays in a relationship and is ruining it because of routine.

It is sad to know that a partner is like an object you discard after use simply because one wants to try something new.
