My boyfriend is always busy?

Every time I call my boyfriend he says he is busy working or he is tired from working and sleeping. I work 10 hours a day and I still find time to call him on my lunch break and his response is always I gotta go I’m busy. Then the part that confuses me is that he will complain that I don’t help him pay his rent or give him money when we don’t live together and I have my own rent to pay. If he is working so much he should have his own money right?

He makes me feel bad for calling him but every time I try to break up with him for being so busy. He says you know I love you just got a lot of stuff I gotta do.

If this guy doesn't even do what you consider to be basic friendship things then you should find someone else. A man who loves you will make time to talk to you throughout the day. My boyfriend works 12 hour shifts and I work 3 jobs. We still find time to text or call. We have never gone a full day without at least checking in. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. I don’t pay his rent but he always ask me to do that or give him money. He always says you never help out. You never help clean my apartment or cook or help out financially but we don’t live together and he never available to hang out.
