That availability thing is BS. I’d like a woman who is super available, just not any potential problems that come with that (I don’t know what those problems are because I never had that). When my girlfriend takes time to get back to me I don’t like it. She does this for ever text, literally. Imagine your internet connection is lagging and slow, that’s what it’s like. Does anybody like that? NO! Does anyone like when a fast food restaurant takes 30 minutes to make a burger? Does anyone think “wow the burger must be extra good if they’re taking this long.”? NO!
I find it so ironic and amusing that women do things to guys that they want when they wouldn’t do these things in any other scenario because everyone knows it sucks! Maybe those girls just want to sprinkle some quirkiness on the relationship because it would be boring otherwise, I don’t know.
Us guys like to get things done. Boom! Bam! Yes or no. Hurry up! Waiting to pretend to be busy etc is a waste of time and it’s just annoying. I’m not going to think “ooh she must be busy therefore high value.” In fact if I find out it’s a farce I’m gonna be pissed. Men will judge your value not based on iffy clues but on clear evidence. And I think guys value time more than young women because women often have more than enough guys to choose from but guys have to go out and get girls and usually those girls reject the guy. And even if they don’t reject him, they’ll wait and test him. We don’t have time for games! Only when women get middle aged do they start to realize the value of time when they’re hit on a lot less than before and guys make videos and comments saying “Now you know how we feel. Shoulda not played those games before and shoulda not been picky.”
Biggest turnoff for most guys is if a woman is ugly. I’m not hot just so you know I’m not a hot person talking down to not-hot people.
If you still need to know what “ugly” means to men, just ask, but I hope it’s obvious.
Also her responding to me instantly shows me that she values me as a priority in her life, which I like. If she takes long to respond all the time, I’ll feel like she doesn’t care about me as much as I would like her to care about me.
She is always on the phone, texting taking selfies things like that.
Narcissistic, self absorbed, doesn't even know that I am there.
Bad hygiene, partner, that stops putting in the work. Lack of communication.

Clearly, whoever wrote the article that you read was a woman, and has no idea what men do and don't want. You are smart to actually ask MEN this question directly.
I would say that the biggest turn-offs for men are "modern women" - feminist, career-focused, "strong and independent" boss babes. Such women will either end up alone or with weak, submissive men that they don't respect. And they can't figure out why having these traits that turn men off fails to attract men, because they've only ever listened to WOMEN'S opinion of what men want.
I love boss babes! But I respect might not be for everyone.
Can't say all men are like that, i still wanna believe there is some who r not like this. but it is true most men are turned off by an available woman. They rather chase a skirt than appreciate the one who was always there for him. My boyfriend was poor as fuck, i was with him in every sense, mostly emotionally. When life started to go his way he found me too irritating and annoying. He said i don't give him space when i call to ask about his day n health, he rather spend his day doing something else than being with me. I was still there cuz i loved him but he went to chase a girl who doesn't give a shit about him, then whn he gets rejected he gives me shit but he doesn't stop. I left eventually. Its not even funny😂 but i realised men doesn't need a good women who is always available, they want a chase, so they can always feel like hunters. Otherwise its too boring for them
@TooHot2Care Lol. Hilariously misguided, but thanks anyway.
Not intimidated at all, anymore than I'd be intimidated by a peanut butter and dog poop sandwich. I'm just completely UNINTERESTED in "strong, independent women" just as I would be by that sandwich. Like the sandwich, such a woman is a negative value to me - a colossally bad investment.
I think a woman showing interest and making time is a GOOD thing. Sure I understand also when someone is busy.
But if someone seems to make excuses not to hang out. I figure they aren’t interested
I'm not going to talk about anything physical, because that's just obvious stuff. But my major turn-off from a woman is when they act like a man. Like one of those obnoxious "boss-bitch/babe" types. All confrontational about anything they get a chance to be... it's worse than a man, to be honest. Reminds me of one of those little yip yip dogs that try to act all tuff, but I have to still try not to step on it by accident when it's nipping at my pants. Those chicks are major turn-offs.
NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE MONEY YOU MAKE!!!
😂Not you, talking to those chicks. It's like they think they're a 1990's gangsta rapper bragging about it so much.
Well it would really depend on the man so it is highly subjective.
However, for me it is different.
1. "I read somewhere that man get turn off when a woman are always available, like she’s too available whenever he needs her. Does being caring, always available and be with him whenever he needs you are turn off for a man?"
The answer is for me I always find a woman is available, who is an open book and if she is very sweet, kind and caring is always appealing to me, I will always appreciate such a woman. As a man I always respect such a woman and I make sure I give her time and respect (conditional). I make sure I reply as fast as I can and not to make her wait.
Yes whatever I said above is fully applicable even if the woman is just an acquaintance or a friend also.
Woke / feminist tendencies are the #1 turnoff for good men.
Being caring, always available and being with him whenever he needs you are turn ONs for a good man.
By the way, it's a myth that men hate strong women. Obnoxious, overbearing women who don't know how to treat a man like to characterize themselves as "strong" and use it as a scapegoat to explain why they fail with men. They're only hurting themselves by not recognizing the real reasons why they can't attract and keep a good man.
I’m definitely not going to lose attraction if she’s always there for me lol. Another media perpetuating something that cause harm to the dating pool.
she thinks he likes the chase so she ignores him and he thinks she’s not interested so he moves on lol.. don’t listen to these books or magazines
That's not a turn for me at all if she's my girlfriend. I love it when she is available.
I don't like it when she is needy or clingy.
One thing that turns me off is if she tries to act like a nightclub stripper, lap dancer, or rap video performer style of sexy.
There are other things, but I'll leave it at that.
My only turn off are if she's rude, manipulative or condescending. Toxic traits like that.
Beyond that if she's caring and there for me that's a green flag.
And unlike some other answers here, I don't get intimidated by independent women or educated ones or feminists. All those are green flags for me.
The biggest for me is complaining - about anything and everything. It does not bother me if she wants to unload about her day, but, that should not be happening on a daily basis. Just too much negative energy.
I rarely come home and complain about my day. I prefer to make the best of our time together and enjoy each others company before the work days starts all over again the next day.
A woman that can remain positive for the most part, is very attractive to me.
It can be. I dated a girl once that couldn't go a day without seeing me, which even that wasn't a problem, but she would call me every hour, and if I wasn't available, she'd get really mad, and accuse me of cheating. I think girls can get a little clingy.
Everyone needs space. I think as long as you give a guy some space, the relationship goes by smoother with less problems.
Being available is NOT a turn off at all in my opinion. I like it.
To me, some of the biggest turn offs are tattoos, feminist attitude, promiscuous past, contact with any ex, posting provocative/revealing pictures online, short unnatural colored hair, nose piercings and ear gauges/discs.
I know it might sound crazy. But a big turn off for me is a female. Who wants 2be. Pleasured orally. Then she thinks she is 2 good 2 return the favor. Reason i bring that up. Thats an example of a woman being selfish. If she going 2 be like that about oral pleasure. What other things will she be all about herself.
I’d say that "modern women" - (feminist, career-focused, 'strong' and independent boss babes) are the biggest turn-offs for men, they also have a tendency to be brash, obnoxious and ill mannered, and also assume that their point of view is the only right one.
Undoubtedly, you've outlined a major allure for numerous women. A man's unwavering drive to succeed and conquer, coupled with a devoted and empowering woman by his side throughout the process, epitomizes the ultimate partnership. Constantly demonstrating availability and affection can lead to a man falling in love. A man with a clear life purpose will undoubtedly be deterred by inattentiveness and inconsistency, as they are unappealing traits in a woman.
I like being with my gal.
But sometimes breaks are needed too.
A girl that needs to be with me all the time comes off needy. If she doesn't let me breath and have some me time. Then its overwhelming.
Give the guy some space. Just like women need their own space.
Guys prefer some time alone.
At least a few hours alone. If the guy works a lot understand he is tired. But he still can make time for you as well.
That’s not a turn off, when they make excuses why they can’t go out with us is one, needy can be a turn off at times or always needing to be entertained is annoying and not coming up with things to do instead of always relying on the guy to make plans every time
For me, it’s when they spur drama and take pride in it. I don’t see it often but when I do my heart hurts for humanity.
A woman who thinking flirting with others while in a relationship is fine. That’s cheating.
Women who talk empty words. Will say stuff but never stand by it.
a girl was talking to another friend about how you can't trust anyone in dating. She has a boyfriend or something and was talking how she can't trust him because people cheat.
2 months later while she was with him she starts flirting with me. Hypocrisy.
Obviously depends on the man. For me, the biggest turn-off is a "land mine" person where you have to constantly be on edge that something you say will set them off
Always on her cell phone went out on dates and bad table manners like blowing your nose and putting the Kleenex on the table after and if you don’t wash your hands while eating dinner
I hate these mind games. If the guy is sincere, and he really loves you, why should you need to play the game of being "hard to get" or "not always available"? That's just juvenile.
It is true. Men doesn't like it easy and available otherwise they lose interest fast. Sometimes i thk like why would u lose interest in someone who loves u and always there for u? Its ridiculous but unfortunately its true n its sad.
The wrong perfume that doesn't match my nostrils preferences. Some women who know how to wear the right smelling perfume, make me feel on cloud 9 🙃🙃🙃😊😊😊
Lol. So dude wants her to fill up her schedule with other dick lol. That’s crazy. Biggest turn off for me. Laziness. Like I can tell if a female is lazy by nature. From the first time I communicate and talk to her. I can tell. I’m not a lazy person overall. In my life I always give 120%. I need someone to match that. And most women can’t live up to that.
smoking, continual bad language, lack of empathy and argumentative.
You can't be more accurate
The counter-question: which man? We vary a LOT more widely in our sexual tastes than most women think.
They can be a tease. Me don't tolerate with them. A guy I knew ex girlfriend was being like that infront of him. Sad 🥲😬
I'd say the opposite is quite in fact true. Biggest turn off for me is indifference. She just doesn't care.
Not for me it isn't. That's women's mentality, not a guy's.
Feeling like I am walking on egg shells and that she will flip out.
Tattoos.
An ex who is still part of her life red flag🚩
@Sasha0426 yes
@Sasha0426 I didn't say I'd stop a woman communicating with her ex over kids, I simply mean I would avoid getting involved with her for that reason. So those scenarios wouldn't happen.
Different guys have different turn offs
Mines when she thinks she can tell me what I can and can't do.
I had a girl tell me what I wasn't allowed to do, and I lost it
I disagree with you. Whatever conditions you mentioned, those are indicative of good caring woman.
And regarding turn off factor for me, i can tell u at inbox.
If that's true, don't ever get married, unless you don't want to always be available.
Promiscuity
Loud, argumentative, entitled attitude
Nup. But being demanding is an extremely annoying turn off and somewhat related.
Going down on her and her pussy smells weird and tastes weirder.
Number 1 turnoff cuz I love eating pussy.
The most common show stoppers for me are women who are promiscuous, have entitled attitudes (this one is super common today), have leftist views or openly identify as a feminist. Life is too short to be with a woman with any of those maladies.
Being overweight obese which to me is anything over 140 lbs.
Really, it shows a lack of self-discipline she can't stop eating and eating.
Biggest turn off for me in a girl is one who is not honest or talks in round about way.
I prefer girls who speak their mind.
As for being too available that's not an issue for me.
The Biggest Turn Off for me is a woman playing mind games.
I'm ND, so Life is difficult enough.
If she plays mind games, then I'm outta there!
@Mariena_Anne92 For me, a biggest turn off is a woman who gets my name wrong, shows up late, changes or cancels schedules, loves traveling, & no shared hobby.
I think most men would find it a turn off is a woman is really self absorbed.
Would you mind dming? I need some advice and support.. follow me if its okay.
For me its when women expect everything to be paid by me.
Mental illness
Unfortunately yes but we girls fall for guys if they do that to us. They're quite opposite to us
First massive turn off is a feminist, Who obviously wrote that article.
If she is leftist, feminist, not traditional, All huge turnoffs.
Whenever I feel confused.
Body count.
Baggage.
Poor attitude.
Manipulation attempts, and complaining are things I can't tolerate.
Asking for money. The earlier in the relationship the worse it is.
Smoking, cursing, batching about caddy things.
She won't have sex with me though she flirts with me and knows I want to FFF her.
No, wrong concept, guys always to keep his girlfriend always with
Being inconsiderate of others
Being too nice.
For me just a lack of independence.
To me it's... fat :)
Promiscuity and masculine energy.
Lack of independant thought.
Promiscuity and selfishness.
