I would probably date somebody that was in debt. The type of debt is okay is educational, house, and automobile. Any other debt is not a need it's a want. I have always looked at things as needs and wants. I need food to eat, clothes, employment and housing which also includes utilities. Wants are things that you would like to have but cannot afford which includes the high-dollar handbags, those fancy darling shoes that are several hundred dollars a piece. That fancy outfit. The huge TV set the fancy stereo. The top model cell phone. The very extravagant date. Dating can be inexpensive and simple.

I'd have to find out a little more to why they're in debt. If it's because they spend more than they have, probably not, because I'd always be getting them out of debt. If it's someone hit by the economic downturn, I'd have no problem dating them.

Before i would hv said i dont care as long as he is working hard to get out of it but now if i have choice i want someone who is financially stable. Relationships are hard at it is , adding money into it isn't ideal. I myself trying so hard to live my life free from those stuff, and i would like to continue like that

Sure, aslong as they are actively working to get out of it, and the debt wasn’t caused by something stupid like impulsive credit card spending or ticking up drugs.

Probably not. I'm not going to outright say "no". But the truth is it's probably a problem of her own making. And she's a bad investment if she's learned nothing from it.
