They be out there crying and whining over paying for $1 candy bars, asks what you as the woman brings to the table and what their woman can provide them with rather than be men and ask themselves what they can provide for this woman, don’t remember her birthday, can’t even be bothered to try to get her in the mood when they want sex just asks wanna fuck and brings out the lube instead of working to get her excited then complain she never wants to fuck. I do not know if I'm capable of loving somebody in a sexual way until my dying day, but I can love somebody as a kind and caring person that I can trust and confide in and love. I used to know a guy who had a girlfriend that was a 10 out of 10. She might have been the prettiest woman I had ever laid my eyes on, she was also fiercely loyal, very confident, had teeth that were whiter than snow, very intelligent and hard working, and nice to everyone. This guy also had an ugly and disabled female friend and he was happier taking care of his disabled female friend then he was hanging out with his top notch girlfriend who might have been 1 in 600 when it comes to beautiful woman. My point is, sexual love is not as strong as spiritual love or compassionate love.

No I'd still say that modern women an men fall in love the problem is rather that no one knows at least not in the younger generations how to get in a relationship and how to keep it going for a longer time.
Since modern women don't want to live in traditional gender roles and guys often rather stumble in the relationship they have a hard time working it out before love has faded.
If they still are together after love is over they fight over everything and start the blame game causing themselves a trauma and a bad picture of the other sex.

Well, that's kind of a lot to unpack in there. It's a years past relationship that neither of us behaved well in. He was just massively neglectful and conflict avoidant, meaning he would disappear the moment a conversation got remotely serious. I needed more affection, he wouldn't give it, that made me insecure, which made me ask for affection more, which made him pull away more and it just became a vicious cycle that absolutely destroyed me. Eventually he got the nerve to end the relationship because he was 'so depressed and couldn't handle a relationship right now', and he then immediately went to date another girl who he'd portrayed as his 'new best friend' while we were still dating. Still pisses me off. He could've at least ended the relationship with honesty, but he didn't.

I agree, you need to show love, care and be affectionate when you are in a relationship. I feel the same way. You said he ended the relationship. Then he is free to date anyone. You should move on.

He is free to date anyone, and I have moved on. I was just pissed that he lied about why he was breaking up with me. I haven't spoken to him in 4 years anyway.
