Would you stay friends with someone from a casual relationship after they found someone for a serious relationship?

Hey there,

I met a girl from bumble, she was actually one year older than me and we really kicked it off. First date after one week of writing and we went for a walk and Cafe afterwards. Talked for 4 hours in this Cafe and about lots of serious stuff as well (society's expectations, future, personal opinions). After that we met several times for different activities were we really enjoyed ourselves and got to know each other better. A month later I am at her place, cooking dinner with her, watching a movie afterwards and then we have the talk were she says, "she is someone who falls in love easily and that she wants to have lots of experience (polyamory)". At that point I was totally fine with it, I really enjoyed the talks and activitys but I also saw some issues that would later (in a serious relationship) become bigger problems.

So we went to do it, but naturally, as I am a virgin I was quite clumsy and after a short time she just said that it felt as if we were young teens and doing something illegal. So we stopped and after we talked about it for an hour I really wasn't feeling it any more and went home. One of the last words she said was "that I am such I nice guy and she feels like she doesn't deserve me and really hopes that we will see us again".

Well two weeks forward and she wrote that she found someone that she wants to start something serious with and wants to stop her casual relationships. I asked her if she wants to cut contact but she said she wants to be friends. I think i cannot really view this situation as a friend ship but how should I decide?
