+1 yMost of the girls I've been with are Japanese or Philippina, and I'm North Western European genetically and from America. I never had a problem with different types of girls as far as race or nationality is concerned. The rise of obesity has sort of given me a preference, but I've seen skinny girls turn into fat land whales after a few years in America. Attitude is a huge factor for me... If they act ghetto, have major personality flaws, and so on... I'm not going to waste my time with her. I might bang them, but I ditch them just as fast as I hooked up with them.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI’m a Mexican guy in my mid twenties, and I’ve dated so many women from different races/ethnicities that I just don’t understand how people could close themselves off to not wanting to date someone who looks slightly different than themselves? Like being Mexican, you already are mixed, so it’s not like dating a different race/ethnicity is different. Like I’ve dated an Indian, Filipina, Columbian, White, and black girls before. My first ever girlfriend was white. She taught me so much, and I’m forever grateful to her because I learned how to be a better person from her. Even though she cheated on me, it taught me to be a better listener and how to love a girl more. And I took bits and pieces from other relationships too. It only build me more wiser in making women happy. I’m currently in love with this Korean girl at the moment, and I wish to make her mine for as long as possible.

1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Sure. I don't care what race someone is. I like someone based on our chemistry, his intelligence, his great personality and his good heart. So, if he has all those things, no matter what race he belongs to I want him. He's attractive to me. Every culture has some beautiful things that I get to learn be it in my culture or others. So, that isn't an issue for me.

20 ReplyNo. Mixed-race kids often have some personality and identity issues. Sometimes they end up having a lot of resentment for one of their parents as well. I also want my kids to look like me - a chip off the old block. When you race-mix the kids usually don't really look like either of the parents. And finally, I'm most attracted to women who are of my own race anyways.

+1 yCOMPLETELY different? No. Slightly different? Yes. I would date/marry a Native American, a Latina, a Turk, an Arab, or a South Asian woman.
I probably wouldn't marry a black woman, unless she's North African. Or mixed.
The point is that I'm attracted to people who look similar to me, not completely different.
I may also marry a Pacific Islander, as I find them attractive as well.
And some Malaysians and Indonesians look good, because the Muslims came to those lands and intermixed with them genetically. (Although I wouldn't marry a Muslim. So she would just have to be descended from them.)
I might marry a Japanese girl, but it depends.08 Reply- +1 y

I would date again.
Everything I ever thought to be ideal - was in him.
I have yet to meet anyone who would impress me more than he did.

+1 yI have many times before and would continue to do so as long as that specific individual didn't have an ignorant mindset. However, dating another race/nationality is not my main preference (even though the majority of my boyfriends these last 4 years have been men of different ethnicities). Its more so of if/when it happens, it happens. I won’t turn someone down over their race/nationality but I will turn someone down over their mindset, tone and delivery

+1 yFor sure! If the person has a good personality, it doesn't matter how their skin looks or where they come from. That's why I'm not too fond of these Americans that are against illegal immigrants. They're all racists. Every single one of them. They make me sick! These are the same people that are committing hate crimes.
Instead of hating thy neighbor, love thy neighbor! It saddens me that some people will never know how to love.10 Reply
+1 ySure. My girlfriend is from Iran and I'm from Switzerland. Those are really different cultures and nationalities.
However, as the U. S. race model teaches us, we are both white. I know that our species does not actually have races (unlike the Eurasian red squirrel that has at least five), but if I had to construct such a model I would not necessarily put my girlfriend in the same box as myself.00 Reply
+1 yDefinitely. I would slightly prefer a woman who has a similar ancestry and culture to mine because we'd probably have a little bit more in common, but that's not a huge preference. I've often found women of other nationalities and ethnicities attractive, and wouldn't hesitate to date her if I thought it would work out. It would also be fun to learn of her family heritage and traditions if they're different as well.

+1 yIf anything ever happened to my wife, I would probably start looking outside the US, or the anglosphere in general, if we're being honest. It would take a lot of convincing and demonstration of character to give a western woman a chance. I don't hate western women or any women by any stretch of the imagination. By the numbers and from experience, western women seem to be the most miserable, angry, and entitled, which is not what I want to come home to every day.
00 Reply 2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. Sure, as long as we get along, she has a great personality, and we have things in common. it really doesn't matter what nationality or where they are from.
I have never sought someone just because of where they are from, or their nationality.00 ReplyYes, I have and I would. I am married now, for 50+ years, but before I married I dated two different people from two different nationalities/races. I did not have any issues with it but both my family and the other persons families had an issue with it. I wish we could say we were past that as a society but we are not.
00 Reply369 opinions shared on Dating topic. My boyfriend is Cambodian and I am white so yes. There are certain things that I am more attracted to that I generally find within my own race but if you’re hot you’re hot, and if your personality is good then it doesn’t matter

+1 yYes I would. The most developed people are usually mixed. The closer related The worse.
My ex (my only ex) was gambian. And my crush is Iranian. So yes I would!
10 ReplyOf course I would esp since we are in the 21st Century; race, color, etc should not matter. I have always dated men that are different races from me and that's so fun. It makes a person appreciate other cultures, learn about other traditions so it's an education really. I think mixing races is amazing.
