I often hear that that girl is so beautiful, and that boy is so handsome, but in the world of love, are these two important?

I felt traumatized with a guy who turned out to be 64… on a nude call.

Always liked older but not that old. Older was doable for me but seemed a lot we’re just disrespectful/under-appreciating. Etc. some heartless.

Normally appearance is the bait, it's the best way to put it, it attracts or lures the person to then confront that person, normally love doesn't have boundaries when it comes to physical appearance but we can't just completely exclude it either, considering sexual interaction is involved in a relationship which is normal and maybe even healthy for there to be a sexual connection in a relationship but if we are just going to sit here and say during that sexual interaction that appearances doesn't play a part then that's a lie because I'm sure everyone wants someone that looks appealing to their eyes to a certain point, I'm not saying to be shallow and aim for the most stunning or whatever but appearance plays a role and that's for most if not everyone.

Looks are important to relationships, but not to love.

You can love a person platonically, but to love them romantically you need sexual attraction.

Aside from physical maturity, age is less relevant, but can often impact relatability, which is important for the friendship aspects of a relationship.

Disease can impact looks, and often people mistake disease for "aging". Often disease is reversable, and if you love a person you should try to help them reverse instead of abandoning them, with the only exception being stds.
If they catch an std, they cheated and do not deserve your help, nor do you deserve to catch what they have.

yes and no. It’s going to be difficult to look forward to sleeping with someone who don’t feel hot for. It’s going to be even harder to compliment this person on their looks (both sexed need to hear that but is especially important for women). And a selfish part of us wants to show a partner or spouse who is good looking. Look unfortunately do matter to an extent.

But there is an old saying that “good looks will fade but a shitty personality won’t”. Even if the person is still attractive physically a crappy personality can make anyone seem ugly.

You are entitled to your equivalent. No more no more less. But people get this wrong on both ends. They either have higher expectations for their partner then they have for themselves or they settle for someone less because they don’t want to be lonely. Yet they get restless and even bored.

Somewhat, I think our tastes change as we get older. When you're young there's a heavy emphasis on what he or she looks like and the rest of their character doesn't really matter. As you get older, appearance is still somewhat high on the list, however, their character/integrity is more heavily weighed.

True emotional connection / perfect chemistry between people can do quite a bit to overcome lack of physical attraction, but it's generally easier to find someone who you're sexually drawn to than a person whose "inside" turns you on.
