Not really, no. When you've been single for a while, you find other ways to fill the void in your life: work, hobbies, fitness, friends, family, travel, etc...

I've been single nearly 15 years... I think? Honestly I've been single so long, I can't tell you how long it's been! Lol. But I'm content. I'm not looking, nor am I stressing over it. I used to think being single in my 20s was the end of the world and people would judge or shame me-

As someone who was a virgin till 35 I had begun to believe I would be alone forever. But in past 5 years I've met my fiancé, we have 2 amazing kids, and now if I ever found myself single I would feel much more confident I would be able to find someone new

I'm no longer single, but I have been single by choice for long periods of time.
I always liked the freedom of being able to go where I wanted when I wanted to, or do, buy or doink whomever I wanted to doink.
I had a lot of fun back then.

Sometimes I think of it but If I lose everything and I have nothing and I'm not successful yet, I'll probably get into dangerous shit like get back into the street life or get into the most dangerous jobs.

I used to fear it but not anymore. I know I can take care of myself and I know how to be single and happy. I still think I might prefer a wife but that isn't a necessity for me anymore.

Fear? No. It does cross my mind. But the choice isn't entirely mine. So therefore if I am single forever than that was just what FATE and women decided. Not so much me. It's all good.
