I would say women love spending it, men love making it. There’s more men in higher paying careers than there are women. Whether that’s due to sexism in the field not wanting women to have the jobs, or if it’s just due to women not wanting those jobs, who knows.

One factor it is due to is that women have a higher absentee rate than men. They take more days off and they are more likely to leave a job when they have children. So they are less reliable to their employers and therefore less likely to be promoted up the ladder.

I work in the financial world. There are way more men who are obsessed with making money than women. Women tend to live in the moment while men tend to chase money dreams. In finance, men outnumber women drastically. Its not even close.

i am not sure why. but i think its probably ingrained into a man's genes to have the desire to gather resources. Most of the people interested in investing , business, and money smarts are men rather than women. A lot of women are more interested in going for a girls night out , getting nails done, movies, trips, working for an employer rather than starting up a business. Men are more work , goal oriented and tend to have more dreams

On this we agree. Men are programmed by millions of years of evolution to be the providers and protectors of the family unit. They are more competitive and aggressive than women and therefore tend to pursue careers where those traits are desirable. Having come from the world of finance myself I can confirm that your observation about it being a male dominated industry is accurate. And I think the reason I just gave is why. I think it is also the reason why they dominate the sports industry. Competitiveness is one of the key attributes of being a provider since all valuable resources are scarce.

believe it or not, not all strong people have muscles. And just cuz someone has bigger muscles, it doesn't necessarily mean they are stronger. Just cuz someone does not look strong, it doesn't mean they aren't strong. I've been very strong throughout life and i never had obvious muscles.

i know a lot of guys. A lot of them beat up every little thing that annoys them. One of my guy friends told me that he wanted to punch someone in the face because they met someone on the bus who kept covering their nose and mouth around them. Or beating someone up because someone (they didn't know) called them weird.
