+1 yI mean, spoiling a mound of money by being a rotten corpse on it doesn't have much appeal to me. I'd rather die with a net worth of zero and have all my assets going to causes and organizations I want to support - like community gardens, animal shelters, and maybe even set up a trust fund to pay for pro-bono services so my psychologist can offer free sessions to people in need (as she has done for me).
I'd choose money because having "love" set for you sounds like something out of a dystopian YA novel.
With money, I have one less worry and more time and mental space to build loving relationships that are real. And I can treat my love to things without worry.
So, yeah. Money. And make sure I die broke as fuck (but paying for all my own cremation and funeral costs, and a fucking spectacular feast at my wake - people should be crying over how good the food is more than how sad they are at losing me).20 Reply

I have money. Met my boyfriend. He didn't have a job. That didn't bother me. I insisted we date... well, we got put together through GAG.. yes, GAG here...
He turned out to be okay with money.
We are not putting our resources together.
So we both have love and money.00 Reply

+1 yThats a real hard one. Both can give you temporary happyness but can also deceive and hurt you.
With money you can travel, buy stuff, have wealth etc. but as cons you'll get hunted by golddiggers, it brings greed, and brings work and stress or can change your mentality.
With love you have a person who you trust, can do stuff (like go out, travel, get intimacy) together with, someone who understands you etc. but as cons an ideal partner is a fantasy, you rarely share the same interests and are soulmates, love blinds you and you take dumb decisions, you can get heartbroken00 Reply
3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Money I can make. Money is also the most important thing in this world. Nothing runs without money.
Love? It's a real treasure and exceptionally rare these days.
Now if she's a middle class career businesswoman, then I choose love. We'll be rich together 😁
But if she's a financial disaster (by her poor choices that is), then I choose money of course. Money is paramount for mere existence and survival. No amount of money can fix living financial disasters.
Money is to be enslaved but love is to be 'mastered'.00 Reply

+1 yI can't spend, invest or pay with love, plus I get plenty from my fiancée and other people and it's not that big deal.
So I prefer money by a long shot.10 Reply2.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. To me it's all about love and support. I could have all the money and security but no one to spend it with, it means nothing. I'd rather be homeless. For fun, in last Christmas, the main character did not have a home, she was basically homeless shacking up with other friends

I'd want her over this

Why? Simply because, there is humility, gratefulness and a true genuine desire to connect with and be with each other.
Let's put it this way. If she were homeless and I was simply a dishwasher, she would love me for me, but if she was a woman looking for money I would not be given the time of day.
So, I prefer love over money10 Replymoney cause money can't break your heart, it comes and goes but unlike love, it keeps coming, that ramirez shit, paper over pussy, if you haven't heard the song then i recommend you do, it fire
21 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. this is an issue for me, because if I have no love in my life I feel like I have no purpose in life so might as well die, but what the point of having love if you can't spoil them, if you are too poor to give you partner a gift it would be just as miserable if not more miserable as not having a partner in the first place. so if I have to choose then I either choose both or death, that is unless I could just get a sugar baby, but I don't know if I want someone who is only in it for the money.
00 ReplyMoney, always money.
People who say love, seem to think the question assumes that they would get to keep the amount of money they currently have (and live comfortably with).
But that's never the question, the question is zero love vs zero money.00 Reply692 opinions shared on Dating topic. Ehh, based on your description neither. I don't want dog-like loyalty or a pile of cash without companionship... I've had both, and they're about as filling as a small can of chicken noodle soup. Sure, it's technically food, but all you really get is some salty broth with some chunks in it. It needs something more for both/either.

+1 yLove. I can live frugally with little money, but I can't live without any love. Being all fabulous swimming in cash doesn't really sound like my thing loll.

Actually yeah it does sound kinda fun, but no so much as a pretty rotten corpse~
Money as it makes happiness, no money no future, I wish I had money

You have the right idea my friend. People do not understand that especially if you are poor, you don't find your soulmate. Not because love buys money, but because the universe rewards you after you've stabilize yourself. Being poor will have you in a codependent relationship and then you'd never really find love.
Love is important. One can earn money but in the end it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor if you live in a country with good rule of law.
Money matters but it can't make a person love you.
It is not the same as the loyalty of a person10 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Dating topic. I rather take the money then a dogs love. And you never get the love you get from pets from a human, they always make it so complexed.

12 ReplyMoney means nothing if you have no love. Trust me you'll feel empty inside because you have all the material things you could want but no one to share it with. No amount of money can buy love. Its something felt between two people emotionally.

People crave for things they don't have. Money is existential and more useful than love. However if you have money there are lot of things you can't buy with it.10 ReplyLove because it can outdo many things and holds no wrongs.

Money and romantic love are alike. You can have them in abundance, and one day, stay bankrupt.00 Reply10.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. But I already have money, and I never have a problem making more. Love, on the other hand, remains elusive.

12 Reply- +1 y
I agree. Some things (the ones I find the most important) cannot be bought. I know many people who get 'friends' by throwing money at them, but as soon as they run out of it, their 'friends' leave them behind in a blink. And so do their bought lovers I imagine.
But these people somehow never comprehend that every money-based relationship is fake. - +1 y
