All i can really do is state my stance on the subject and hope they hear me out and follow through. here's a few i can think of atm — FOOTBALL (not futbol) I’m all for them watching the superbowl but i do not support in joining the sport.— DRINKING UNDERAGE I would hope my kid is smart enough to say no to alcohol in general. But if not, I would prefer they at least wait til 21 to start. — ANY AND ALL DRUGS If i catch them doing any drug while under my roof, oh its on and poppin. I’m not big on physical punishment but they will not get to do shit else but go to school and come home. I don’t play that — GAMBLING UNDERAGE I love going to the casino. As a kid, I loved playing cards But never betted anything more than monopoly money. I want my kids to do the same and avoid shooting dice at school lmao. I mean I’m gonna raise hustlers but like the type who sell candy bars and vending machine goodies for more than what the vending machine charges 🤣 — CURSING, ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF ME I was not allowed to curse as a kid and my mom still doesn't like for us to. Bt my grandparents curse like crazy so she expected it to happen eventually, just outside of her household. I expect the same from my kids —- SEX UNDER MY ROOF & UNDER AGE 18 I know i fcked up and gave into peer pressure when i was 15. I really hope my child is smarter in that aspect and I believe they will be once i give them the talks my parents never gave me. I honestly prefer they wait til age 17 to date but I don't know, i’ll just hope for the best. If they do get pregnant underage, I’d never disown my child but abortion is not an option. I get that kids will make mistakes but i also expect them to face the consequences of their actions. —GETTING PIERCINGS AND TATTOOS They will need to wait til theyre 18 or out my house. I dont want my son having any piercings and I dont want my daughter having anything more than ear piercings — USING SOCIAL MEDIA Wait until age 18+ like I did. #FeelFreeToList

I love how much effort you put in your posts lol. I don't know I have mixed opinions on this like my parents were very very strict so I wouldn't want to set too many boundaries because I just ended up breaking them all anyways. My parents pretty much shunned me after finding out I had sex and now my relationship with them is pretty much nonexistent. I wouldn't want my kids drinking, I don't want them doing drugs or smoking but if they're going to do it, it better only be weed. I agree with what you said about football and other injury prone sports because it really seems like a majority of them just end up getting hurt bad. I really wouldn't want them to overdo on social media, I think it can be really toxic and meaningless unless you're making a career out of it. Tattoos are definitely a no. At the end of the day I think a lot of things can be good for them even if we see them as bad because some people don't know why something is bad until they try it and if you hold someone back from doing it they might want to just do it even more.

@Jamie05rhs Yeah it seems like I didn't take accountablitly but I do. I don't think everyone in my position would have done the same things that I did. But I do feel like too many boundaries made me want to do my own things. It's okay, I've already moved on from that point in my life, do I wish things could have been different? Yeah but it is what it is I guess.

I like to think I have good morals too. Yeah they have a big mouth but it's kind of hard to blame them like my parents are very conservative muslims and they raised us that way. Sex before marriage is such a major sin and I could tell I was never looked at the same since.
I won't restrict. From someone that came from a very restrictive household and everything was no without reasoning I became very good at sneaking and doing things to get my way…. my best friend would cover for me. I clearly stopped at a certain age because I grew out of it and as I got older I just started saying how I felt. But things could have been really bad if I had no goals in life I always had As so my parents Only wanted me to focus on that which was draining. I’ll always give actions and consequences. I don’t tolerate drugs though.

Video games can be a form kf escapism and people use it to flee their problems. Playing games 8-12 hours. If you make money off that sure but most don't. I think social skills are being hampered by it I think in Korea it's classified as that.
I agree. My ex played video games 6+ hours daily. Hot mess. He was a lazy fck. May not occur to all but a lot. I prefer the kid play video games on weekends. Weekdays is to focus on school and active activities. I hope they dont have a porn addiction like i did. Sports shouldn't be a priority but more of a side gig

I would want them to avoid skiing or horse back riding cause it might be dangerous but I would not be dead set against it, would just prefer they avoid it. I might also prefer they avoid dance or music making cause drugs and violence and associated with night clubs and a lot of musicians get murdered by jealous rappers who want to eliminate their competition in music; especially if they rap about guns or drugs.

Besides getting arrested, skipping school, trying to start smoking, drinking, or having sex I wouldn't really be a really strict parents. My were really strict which fucked up my childhood so I would try to be entirely different. But yes no drinking, smoking, or having sex underage. I don't want my future boys or future girls to pertentially ruin themselves.
My parents were super strict, some rules were way too much I feel like a prisoner when I was a little kid, I would want to have children that be allowed to think for themselves.
Oh believe me if they think about skipping school. I would immediately go straight to the teacher and ask what they are missing plus they would be grounded for a week. I were a super hard working student growing up I mainly gotten all A and B when I were attending grade school.
Same. I graduated top 2 in my class and had to give a speech so i expect to raise little nerds. If they skip school, i’ll make them copy the handbook all weekend 🤣 i used to copy it for fun cause i like to write haha
I might not be the fondest of school and I am glad that nightmare is officially over with but as somebody who were eager to have his own independence and gain responsibilities I definitely had kept my A game on. I definitely wouldn't want children to constantly fail they don't have to be like me when I attended school. But I don't want them to be screwing up in school, I don't want to hear any D or F I don't mind C's because I also had gotten a few C's but no D or F.
Outside of football, tattoos/piercings, and social media I agree with you. If they want to play and don't start tackle football until highschool I would be okay with it. The girls could get their ears pierced for middle school, otherwise I agree with before 18. Social media is how most kids share information today. I don't want my children to become social pariah. I don't plan to father any children, but I don't mind raising them.
After seeing my best friend get paralyzed when he scored a touchdown and the whole team tackled him anyways, i say fck football. Its just not sumn im about. Girls can get ear piercings as a kid but i dont like earrings on guys.
I don’t think I would ever restrict me kids on what they can’t and can’t do. Open to all sports and activities. Including larceny. As long as they have bail money. No sex at my house please and thank you. No drinking either.

Yea i dont hate the sport but i just rather not put my kid through it. My friend was the stareing quarterback of the team and yea he got paralyzed at 15 and still is now at age 30
I dont won't them voting for either of the main two parties. But i could care less about who they vote for. Cause thats something they’ll do in private. Im not going to peer pressure them to vote for my party like my family did
