Me and my friends used to cause a lot of trouble around town but we used to go in the woods and one of us would climb a tree and somebody would cut the tree down and we would ride it down and jump off just before it hit the ground.

A lot, lmao. I’ll go with something more innocent from my younger days, which would be when we’d play “Bail Out” on the swing set at school. Top Gun came out when I like 7, so we all would swing as high as we could, and then we’d be like “Mayday! Mayday! Bogies at 6 o’clock! Oh no, I’m hit!!! EJECTIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!!!”, and then at the highest point we’d leap out of the swing and go airborne, and come crashing to the ground. Can’t believe none of us ever broke an ankle or something, lmao. And the teachers just let us do it. I don’t ever remember them stopping us. The 80s🙃🤷♂️

Were the swings not in a sandpit? We did that, too. :-)

We used to bumper surf in the winter when snow was on the ground.

The Fall Guy comes to mind. Apparently they needed a new pickup every few episodes.

@DryGermanGuy I remember that show. That was an awesome truck. I was driving a 1973 Olds delta 98 going on that road.

Oh geez. It's endless. Ride cardboard down mountains. Walk around all hours of day and night without worry. Flipping and or spinning anything just to master a trick to look cool. Knives, etc. Walking along the top of a large water pipe that ran for miles. Riding rollercoasters without all the safety equipment was the best. It's not that I wouldn't want them to though. We are better people when allowed to live and experience lessons in our own time.

2 moLmao some of these other answer make me nervous for my kids to ever leave the house. All I ever did was stay out late and walk the neighborhood at like 1-2 in the morning and hang out with friends.
I never smoked, didn't drink until I was 21 and have never tried drugs. I'm kinda innocent lol21 Reply

When I was in junior high school, my friend had her own motorcycle (she lived in a rural area and her dad taught her how to ride one when she was maybe 5?). Anyhow, she would ride the motorcycle to my house and pick me up for school in the morning. Other times she would pick me up to go hang at our other friend’s house. None of our parents complained.

There's not much. The one thing I can think of is that we used to race our bikes on neighborhood streets, sometimes 4 or 5 of us side-by-side down the middle 0f the street. Today, there are a lot more cars and crazy drivers than back when I was a kid.

I used to go online to anonymous chat rooms as a tween because I didn't have anyone irl I could really talk with.
I would never let my kid's have that kind of unsupervised access to the internet. Once kids in my life get electronic devices, I will get a firewall for my internet so that they can't access shady websites or videos while they're at my house.
I will also try to be much more open to sensitive topics and conversations than my parents were, so that if my child (or any child for whom I am a trusted adult) finds themself needing to have a serious conversation, they may reach out to me instead of some stranger who doesn't care.

Tease Trumptards. If my future kids also have to tease them, the US is over. 😔

Every smart person I know thinks Trump is a buffoon. It's only the local dummies who praise him.
Prices are going up, not down. Ya dun goofed. - 2 mo
I just filled up my truck. I get gas once a month. A month ago gas was $3.39 a gallon. I filled up Friday and it was $2.99 . Trump has not been in office long enough to start drilling for oil but I think it is due to the fact that the oil company executives know what is coming and are getting on board.

Just one word, cocaine. I dabbled with it when my girlfriend at the time introduced it to me, but I used it occasionally and I never got addicted to it, so I managed to quit cold turkey. Said girlfriend quit too before She became my wife and although some of my friends still use it, if me or her get it offered we refuse.
It's just not worth it.

Borrow a motorbike or car that did not belong to us. Not to mention, driving w/o license.

Sometimes my parents would go off in my father;s car. When they were gone my brother and I would take my mom's car out for a ride. We would ride around town and wave at all the kids we knew. We were 15 at the time.
One day my parents came home early and we were still out riding around. When we got home we saw my fathers car in the driveway. We knew our goose was cooked. - 2 mo
Yeah, we were similar, sometime we drove to a club or party and back. In hindsight it was very stupid, especially if the police would have caught us. When my parents found out, they were quite pissed, but by the time I had already turned 18 and I sort of tried to sell them on the idea it was practicing to minimize costs for driving school. :-)

I used to jerk off before I hit puberty. Pee would come out and it burned... but damn it still felt good at the same time. At least now I just bust semen all over the place.
00 Reply I did lots of dangerous things. But one of the things I wouldn't want my kid to do is to get pulled by a car at 25 or 30mph while on skates or a skateboard.

NO: Stealing cars, drugs, plagiarism, shoplifting, beer runs to another time zone, waking up in unknown places in bed with unknown people, disappearing for weekends at a time, vandalism, bootlegging cigarettes, unprotected sex, sleeping with friends SO, speeding, theft and so much more...

I dunno I think we learn a lot from all the dumb stunts we pulled. The only really stupid thing was drinking and driving the backroads was pretty much a sport in the small towns out here, that one I’d say you don’t need to experience to know it’s a bad idea

Something I’d do for fun, that I wouldn’t want my own children to do is an interesting thought.
Maybe not let them play realistic violent video games until they’re older, I’d have them play the low graphic fidelity stuff so they acknowledge it is ‘just a game’ before seeing / playing something closer to reality. That is just my thought so they have that predetermined notion prior.
00 Reply Nothing. I was a good kid and raised to amazing kids. We're all good.

Sit in the back of pick up trucks. Hold onto vehicle bumpers to get a ride on icy roads. Ride in the trunks of cars when the inside was too full. Climb on house roofs.
20 Reply I’ve never really been adventurous but stuff like drugs or drinking all the time. Would want them to have good friends who push each other to do and be better, not friends who drag you down with them.
That’s all.00 ReplyIf anything I would want them to do even more. When your a kid its the whole point you can get away with stuff.
So I would tell mine to do it while they can. I did a lot which if I was an adult well I'd be in prison lol
00 ReplyI don’t know if I would ever have kids, but if I do, I’d probably want them to stay in school instead of skipping class to get wasted. I’d also prefer that they not leave the house whenever they want. Plus, and probably get a hobby.
