I‘ve noticed that quite a lot of guys do this. They look at these different pictures multiple times ever day, although the models will never know that they even exist. Doesn‘t that lead to the men sexualizing women in general more or is it harmless? Are they even going to find women in real life as attractive?
I am going to take a bit of a detour after a brief answer to your question so be patient.
Dudes are only aroused visually. Evolution dictates it. As anyone that has ever felt aroused knows, it feels good. There is nothing wrong with that.
When men become stressed throughout their day, maybe even depressed or do a physically exhausting job 8 to 10 hours a day; all we want to do is feel pleasure.
Hence whore houses. Think about why that happens to be the oldest profession.
Back before the Industrial Revolution, physical labor was the only way to get large, laborious job done. Or long hours spent hunting for food. Physical Stress.
Then you had the men that didn’t do any physical work, but had the laborious job of making sure that those he was in charge of did their jobs. Mental Stress.
With women, when they are stressed or overworked themselves, the last thing they want is sex. They are unable to be aroused visually. There arousal takes time to build and they must be relaxed and not worried with their job, the kids, or an irresponsible man child of a beta husband.
Women need a clear head, to be relaxed and a lot of foreplay to get that arousal going. Unlike us men, a visual aid and just enough strokes and we’re done; leaving a woman going, what about me. If women can’t enjoy long enough pleasurable sex, then why do except for his benefit.

I guess then it was just the way my ex-wife of 18 years was. What types of visual arousal do women look for? My ex was an LPN and dealt with physical, mental and emotional stress at work and my youngest stepson was in and out of jail and when she was at home never felt sexy. It's normal for men to find any half naked attractive, even in real life. Back in the day it was Playboy, today it's social media "models." It's neither good or bad. And the women who are half naked don't mind being sexualized - they want to be.
And at the end of the day would you rather men look at half naked women? Or half naked men?
but i don‘t think that back in the day they were just casually looking at playboy magazines multiple times every day.

They are wanting the attention/validation about their sexual characteristics. I am not saying that is good or bad, just that they are posting pictures of their sexual being and it is aimed at people being interested in their bodies.

It's normal. Guys are programmed by nature to be sexually attracted to womens' bodies. So if they have an opportunity to look, they look. It's instinct.

So what you have is women who want to be sexualized being sexualized by men who want to sexualize women. I'd say that is their business and they both have a right to do what they want to do. I would say it´s harmless to a certain point. Some guys do that ease down their feeling of being horny others do that because they gave up dating. I think it could become a danger if guys start to mix pics (especially porn) and real life.

It's normal but futile because as you've mentioned those models dont even know that the men exist. Most men are invisible to most women. It's the men who are not following these models, who are on their path and purpose that are going to do well in life and be attractive to these models.
