Why do guys become self conscious around girls?

The more self-conscious us guys become, the more doofusy stuff we start doing, then even more self-consciousness sets in.

You know where I'm going with this.

The next thing you know, a guy does a face-plant in a gravel patio area after tripping over a root sticking out of the ground.

Umm, yeah, that happened when trying to "impress" a lovely young lady with his Frisbee skills.

Desperation to lose my virginity, probably.

I guess I'm nervous around attractive women. Around unattractive women to my eyes, I'm normally quite smooth, unless I'm nervous if someone seems like a 'tough woman' or 'a not very uh nice person uh' way. Anyways 😁 I try not to be a nervous wreck nerd all the time to all people lol 🤓

Yes. Many possibilities. From fear of rejection to thinking she just playing a round. Most guys grow out of it as the grow more confident that it really doesn't matter what women think of him, only one woman. That's typically when guys stop being self conscious. But guys are human. Some guys may never completely lose that.
