Because it is disrespectful. Women don’t want to feel like they are in competition for your attention. Some women are completely ok with it and that’s beyond awesome. But there are also other women that want a deeper more meaningful connection. They view things as special, and giving other women attention goes against that and makes them feel like they don’t fully have the person they are with. They will look at the woman you are giving attention to and see why, and wonder what that person has that she doesn’t. Or they may think you think whatever you are looking at you find better. Or here’s a thought… they will feel like you are constantly looking for the next best thing. It’s not just about resources… women are emotional and some have a desire to feel special. There is no better feeling then feeling secure in a relationship.

I don’t think and I could be wrong, most women that do not like their men looking at other women think it’s because they will necessarily leave.. it’s more like it just shows they are not fully happy with what they are with. And women like to feel secure with their partner. I don’t think there is a woman i know that doesn’t want to feel like they are the center of someone’s world. Seeing your man ogle other women kind of says that your not. And there’s something that woman has that interest you more.

It's just objectifying and rude to the person you are staring at.

It's also attractive when men have maturity and sexual discipline and aren't controlled by their penis. Most people want their partner to have eyes only for them, regardless of gender.

If I had a boyfriend who did this I'd just start doing the same, if he gets annoyed or feels self-conscious, then he's a hypocrite! The best part is I'm bi so I could stare at the same girls he stares at AND cute guys too.

Personally I don’t “fear” my man looking at anyone else. If another woman could take him she could have him. It’s about respect, and to stand in front of me gawking at another woman is disrespectful. If you don’t set those sorts of boundaries in your relationship it’s totally fine. Maybe you’re the kind of guy who’s open to polygamy or swinging, or even if your girl is ok with it and you mutually check out others aside from each other then cool. But that doesn’t work in many relationships and a lot of individuals view it as disrespectful.
