Should I believe him he's single?

He works at ER as surgeon on training. He says he work +90 hours a week, if he's not at hospital he's sleeping. He can meet me once or twice a month.

I asked him a bunch of times he kept saying he's single, he has no time to date outside of work, "he feels like" I don't believe him (because I don't lol)

Should I believe him he's single?

You must not know much about the medical field especially working in a hospital. Surgeons work long hours.

My obgyn worked anywhere from 10 to 15 hours per shift 6 days a week. That's over 70 hours per week he was working. A surgeon can definitely work 90 hours a week. Remember some surgeries can take over 8 hours to perform. Doctors also have to write up medical reports, do consultations. When working in the medical field it can be difficult for them to be in a relationship especially if they are a doctor working in a hospital

Yes. He is trauma surgeon. Also he was fellow on his training.

I would believe him when he says he is single even more so doing training because training he would have added stress for him and maybe even more work. He is probably even having sleepless nights at times. I think Dr Mike on YouTube talked a bit about what it is like being a doctor and how harder trainees have it

Don't date people in the medical field. Coming from someone who's currently training to be in one and have parents who work long hours even on weekends except for Sundays. ER surgeons have super hectic jobs. My mom told me never to go into ER, gynecology or neurology. They have a tight schedule.

Surgeon on training those three words don't even go together you can always call the hospital to find out if he's there what he does there when you call the ER there will be a desk there they can answer those questions surgeon and training that's like pigs in space you can only see you a couple times a month there's just way too many red flags there for me

He could be single, however, I am with @MzAsh on this one. Why would you get involved with someone that has little to no time for you?

I understand he may be a great guy, but I think you may regret being with someone that has an extremely limited number of hours in a week for you. It's really easy to lose any kind of connection you may have week to week.

I think he's telling the truth, and I also think if you've "asked him a bunch of times" you should date somebody else. I'd have lost interest in you already since I hate repeating myself.

Yea surgeons sometimes stay up days to complete surgeries and there's actually pictures of them sleeping right after the procedure

What you can do is focus on the romance when you meet (have a romantic long date) and don’t end the night with sex. Tease him through the date and give him a passionate hot kiss at the end of it, but don’t let it go to sex. Say you have something to do and maybe next time.
Don’t fall in arguments or react negatively to his messages (no matter how much hints he give you or negative he sound) keep the smile, be chill and sarcastic. If then he tries to find time for you in his “busy schedule” and actually start wanting to spend more time with you, then you are not a side chick and he’s actually interested. Try it and you’ll get your answer.

No. At 90 hours a week that is 13 hours a day and aside from the physical side there would be emotional stress. With 11 hours outside of work all he is doing is eat sleep and work.

So yes, I would believe he doesn't have the capability to do this work - which he must - and have a more conventional romance. I said side chick because you questioned if he is single suggesting he has other girls. I think in reality the hospital will make any girl a side chick to his training even if she was his wife.

If you see a future with him, I think you should be supportive and accepting that they put them through baptisms of fire and do what you can to make it easier for him. If you see a future.

If you don't find a guy who does 9 to 5.
