It depends how hard she is to keep. After you got a job you don't want to have to keep interviewing for it. I'm not saying it's OK for a guy to relax and get complacent, it isn't! But if she doesn't let him know through her words and actions that he's "got her" so to speak, then no. No guy worth his salt is going to value that woman indefinitely.

I actually consider this to be an epidemic with women today. So few women know how to assess a quality man. So they waste energy on guys who simply do not deserve it. So when they finally meet a decent guy (if they find a decent guy). They are unwilling to give anything. And that guy has enough sense not to tolerate that for very long. Because he KNOWS what a healthy relationship is and that a qua l ity woman gives.

At a certain point, 'hard to get' will be conveyed as disinterest and kill the relationship. With that being said I value a woman who has a life, hobbies, and friends.

So to answer your question, yes, playing hard to get would make me more interested in her, so long as she plays "hard to get" not "impossible to get"
