Anyone ever tell a girl she's lost that loving feeling to get her back to your place?

I just came up with this, obviously from top gun, but anyways, lets say you go on a date and you're kissing her good bye. Would you crack up if a guy suggested you watch a movie at his house and then also told her you think she's lost that loving feeling? Something tells me this wouldn't work on a girl in her early to mid 20s.
