You did the right thing by refusing. Never ever give your home address out to someone who you've only met online. Even if you meet someone on a dating app or something, never make the first few meetings at your home or their home. Always meet in public first and let friends/family know where you're going, what time, who you're meeting and when you're due back so they know. Never be too cautious when it comes to your safety.

Don’t do that. If you meet a guy, meet him at a coffee shop 30 minutes away from your house and if your going to drink any alcohol, get a sister or best friend to pick you up from the bar at a pre arranged time.

1. He's a scammer: 75%
2. He's a stalker: 35% (there is some overlap with #1)
3. He genuinely wants to send a gift to you but is inexperienced and does not realize how odd his asking is: less than 5%
