FYI, I’m 22 and have never been in a relationship or even on a date.
About a month ago, I met this guy on a church trip and we exchanged numbers. After we both got back home, we texted a little and he called me a few times. He initiated meeting up.
Well, after I searched him up on Instagram I think I found out he is in a long term relationship. I’m not 100% sure but there are multiple signs he has a girlfriend. They both comment on each other posts with ❤️ since 3 years lol. Plus they don’t even reply to other peoples comments with ❤️ or something like that. I also saw her Tik Tok where she mentioned him and highlights of her friends where they were all eating together, both of them sitting next to each other.
A few days ago he called me again (after 2 weeks of no contact) and asked me when I’ll be free because he knew I’m on break right now.
I’m literally so confused right now. I should complete have lost interest in him once I found out he has (most likely) a girlfriend but it’s quite the opposite. I still want to meet him. It’s because I’ve turned down a lot of dates in my life before because of fear and I finally want to make that experience. I know he’s not serious with me but if he’s going to use me, why shouldn’t I do the exact same?
On the other hand, there’s his girlfriend who is probably in a relationship with him for more than 3 years. I always, really always, said to myself I’d never be that type of girl who messes with another girl’s boyfriend. It’s just not my character. But now I’m actually considering to meet this guy.
I don’t know what I should do even though I know deep down what I should actually do lol. Ignore him, right? But even though he’s probably a cheater, I feel bad for just ghosting him without any explanation or reason. But I can’t just tell him that I found out about his girlfriend through stalking him. That’s quite embarrassing for me. Telling her isn’t an option for me either.
So what should I do?
